Who we are
Avant Healthcare Professionals is the premier recruiting and staffing specialist for internationally educated healthcare professionals. Our comprehensive program guides qualified registered nurses, physical and occupational therapists through each stage of the licensure and immigration process and makes it simple! Since 2003, we have pioneered new ways to effectively support and transition internationally educated registered nurses and therapists into our clients’ healthcare facilities across the United States.
Avant Healthcare Professionals is more than just a name, it is who we are.
Several members of our senior management team are registered nurses and physical therapists, including our CEO and Founder Shari Dingle Costantini, RN. We understand and appreciate the social and clinical needs of healthcare professionals transitioning to a life in the U.S.A. We plan for every aspect of the recruitment, transition and placement phases. Our experienced teams of licensing, immigration, clinical and transition professionals are available to you throughout your journey with Avant. We are here to assist you in all matters concerning your vocational, social and cultural transitions – before, during and after your arrival to the U.S.A.

Document Checklist
Once you complete the recruitment process, your next step will be with Document Control. During this stage, we will request several essential documents necessary for your US-RN journey. To help you prepare, here is a list of the most commonly required documents. While you don’t need to submit them right now, please begin gathering them so you’re ready when the time comes.

▢ | Passport*. A scan of all pages of your passport even if they are blank. | |
▢ | Official Academic Transcripts for each certificate/diploma you hold. Student copies are acceptable. Unofficial transcripts are not acceptable. | |
▢ | High School Diploma (Secondary Education Diploma and/or official examination results) | |
▢ | Professional License. A scan of your RN License which shows your license number and expiration date (front & back if applicable) for all countries you have held a license in. | |
▢ | Certificate of Employment. A letter from your facility stating you are a current employee; or a signed contract and 2 of your most recent pay slips. | |
▢ | Official Marriage Certificate (if applicable) | |
▢ | COVID-19 Vaccination Records* |
*=documents that are also required for your spouse and/or children, if applicable
Please make sure that your documents are:
Accurate – Confirm that the spelling of your name and the name order matches your passport/birth certificate. Make sure that your da te of birth is correct on all documents.
Clear – Documents need to be visible from corner to corner (please remove staples) and make sure the document is in PDF format.

Here you will find the videos and exams for you to complete. If you are unable to find the exams or final video after watching the initial video, refer back to the My Status page.
Step 3 – Watch the Videos and Complete the Exams

2. Complete the English Exam
3. Complete the Clinical Exam
4. Watch and acknowledge the Program Video
